Children's ministry

Childcare is available during the Sunday morning worship service at 10:30, as well as the Sunday school classes which start at 9:15. There are classes for all ages.

There are opportunities for kids on Sunday evenings at 6:00 and Wednesdays at 6:30.

Students

The student ministry of Towaliga Baptist is dedicated to the teaching of biblical truth, coupled with the application of that truth in the daily life of the student. We do this through our Sunday School classes that meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 and at the Gathering every Wednesday evening at 6:15 in the Student Center. On Wednesday evenings we meet together for a time of music, teaching in a large group, and then a time of deeper learning in smaller breakout sessions.

There are multiple student activities throughout the year. Each year is different and can range from group outings, movie nights, family activities, to beach trips  and other retreats designed to learn, mature in the faith, and bond together as a community of believers. Take the time to drop in. We would love to see you. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, and please check back for updates as we continue to grow, change, and update this website.

Music

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalmshymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." (Colossians 3:16) Week after week the choir, praise team and band seek to lead worship with gratitude and praise to Jesus. We use a variety of styles and instruments, but we seek to lift up Jesus with every note.

Missions

Our mandate as believers in Jesus Christ is to Go and make disciples. This is the core of missions, and it is the driving force of our mission teams here at Towaliga Baptist. We have three main areas of focus - local missions, Haiti, and in Eastern Europe.

We are involved in several local areas and if you are interested in learning more, please contact us, and we will help you find an area in which you can serve. In Haiti, we are currently helping to build a school where children can learn in safety and in a Christ-centered environment. Our next trip is in January, so get with us quickly if you are interested in helping.

Missions, Evangelism, mission-work - it is all for the same purpose. That purpose is to make disciples. So let us go and do what we have been called to do. Let us recognize we can only do it by the strength and power of the One who has saved us. Let us do it for his honor and his glory, alone.
